and granted it not much faster but spec wise 90mil triangles per second vs adreno 88 mil

  4. pcalltheway1 says:

@NumbuhWon LMFAO OK buddy what ever you say :D

  5. NumbuhWon says:

@pcalltheway1 Your stupid. The Adreno 220 is about twice as fast as the Tegra 2 which is way faster than your Sgx540. In fact, the old Adreno 205 (not 200) is significantly faster than your Sgx 540. The only reason why you think your GPU is fast, is that Samsung has put a LOT of optimizations in their phones. You probably use Quadrant, and other stupid benchmarks that don’t dictate speed and think your’s is faster. Simply try to play a 1080P video on your phone.

@pcalltheway1 Not true. Adreno 220 is definitely better than the SGX540.

@Proto1215 They are already in the Sensation, EVO 3D, mytouch 4G Slide, and the HP TouchPad.

  16. ucnthandle321 says:

    PS Vita still looks better.

  17. Proto1215 says:

I think the S3 chipset will be available for the HTC Vigor in the fall for Verizon. I disagree that these chipsets on mobile devices will replace home consoles but they have come a long way in such a short amount of time. Looking forward to the Snapdragon S4. The Tegra 3 is looking very impressive also.

    Dude?
    You are totaly right :D
    And 1 more thing.
Why play games on handys if you can play it on computers? :D

  19. Hfajardo97 says:

@kaltask1 The PSV games looked better. Not by a lot but they still looked better.

  20. Hfajardo97 says:

I’m going to be quite critical about this video because these guys promised something unattainable. They are saying consoles will be made obsolete by their processor. First off, the game doesn’t even look as good as the PSV games. How can they expect it to look better than the next gen consoles? The fact that this processor is very small means more of something similar can fit into a console which means it will always have more power. Its just like how a PC won’t be better than a super computer.

unless I can take my gamerscore across I don’t give a shit about snap dragon

  24. kaltask1 says:

well atleast that game what was showed didnt quite look like ps3/X360 game, more like PSVita game. if that processor seriously doesnt use up much power it would totally be awesome. though i think that the price of the phone with that processor is going to be 400-500 $/€. which is quite too much…for me atleast.
