    @maxvandewiele : it depends if you spend enough time playing on a Plasma , you’ll feel worse playing on an LED TV , yes… the pop gets the first win if your not spending time testing the two types of sets..

    @maxvandewiele I just made an questionarie, and most of people said that this is smth new, nearly 70% from them said that it is strange and doesn’t fit to room design…
    I am like this design, IF! My room wold be MODERN style, but it is actually CLASSIC, and glass TV doesn’t fit =) Sony black design is fine.

    @armageddonarman well Plasma is maybe better for gaming, but this LED has a 200hz refresh rate and the colors pop very good…. So LED is not ‘the worse variant’

    PLasma is better for PS3 or any Games :D
    eventually CRT would be the best for games :D DDD LOL But this is true- low input lag, no problems with colours and angles of arrack etc…
    LED is the worse variant for games- high input lag etc BUT greate for Eco friendly and bills ;) Also deeper colours and contrast! I think I will by C8000 55″ or 65″

    the C8000 has more screen sizes: 32″, 40″, 46″, 55″ and 65″ and the D8000 has a 40″ and 46″

    Samsung came back!! beatifull tv and i also like the silver style of this 8serie it looks so hot. i love it . just sold my 7serie led, and – hell yes iam geting 8serie now.

    LED is an LCD, anyone that tells you otherwise is selling you snake oil.
    LED TV’s still use a liquid crystal display for the panel (LCD) and as a result will never have the same performance as plasma for motion resolution, which is particularly exacerbated when watching 3D.

    Samsung’s best TV is the 8000 series Plasma, not the LED.
