Does sleeping with the President qualify as foreign policy experience?

Much has been made of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s “experience.”

This has been highlighted recently in an advertisement where Clinton supporters ask “who do you want receiving a 3 a.m. phone call?”  In much of her continual campaign retortic, Clinton has remarked that she is ready “from day one.”

What does that really mean?

Barack Obama has held elected office longer than Hillary Clinton.

Barack Obama voted against the invasion of Iraq.

Is Mrs. Clinton implying that when the 3 a.m. phone call came in and former President Clinton left for a security briefing, while she rolled over and went back to sleep, qualifies as her National Security experience?

Voters will decide on Tuesday whether or not these fear mongering ads work.

If Obama wins, we’ll know that they don’t.

If Clinton wins, we’ll know that they do, and this is good news for Republican candidate Senator John McCain.
