Ferraro exits left, Clinton to blame, Pennsylvania can make a statement

Former congresswoman, vice-presidential candidate, and Hillary Clinton “hitman” Geraldine Ferraro resigned her fundraising position with Sen. Hillary Clinton’s campaign after controversial comments she made about Clinton’s rival, Sen. Barack Obama.
Ferraro has been bringing the “race” card into the media just ahead of Pennsylvania’s upcoming primary.
While she continues to misunderstand, and not apologize for her comments, the Clinton [...]

Clinton makes a killer move taking OH, RI, and TX

In a move that surprised many (certainly us), Senator Hillary Clinton scored remarkable upset wins in Texas and Rhode Island.  Her victory in Ohio was expected, but the margin of victory was much higher than the polls had indicated.
It appears that Mrs Clinton’s late stage, mud-slinging campaign against Senator Barack Obama worked.  The “3 am [...]

Prediction: Obama takes Texas, Vermont, RI; Clinton takes Ohio

We thought that we would weigh in with our own predictions for today’s Democratic presidential primaries.
Although most pundits call Texas “too close to call”, we believe this is due to the modeling that is being used in the polling surveys.  Simply put, if 25% of Latinos are expected to vote for Hillary and Latinos comprised [...]

More reasons to love the Red Sox

A great group of humble guys putting in stellar performances for Mike Lowell’s “Dancing with the All Stars.”
This is a charity event for the Mike Lowell Foundation.  The boys of summer raised $190,000 for the Foundation through live and silent auctions, including a $32,000 bid on an authentic 2007 World Series ring.
Lowell won the competition, which Papelbon called [...]

The Boston Globe reported that the New England Patriots and wide receiver Randy Moss have agreed to a three-year, $27 million pact. The deal also includes a $12 million signing bonus and $15 million in guarantees according to Moss’ agent, Tom DiPiero.
“I want to take time out to thank all of the fans for their support and for [...]

Ohio and Texas, Hillary’s Alamo?

As the clock ticks down to March 4th and the inevitable Texas, Ohio, Vermont, and Rhode Island primaries, Senator Hillary Clinton is making her last stand.
Over the weekend, her campaign politicos have been moving the goalposts all over the field since her husband, former President Bill Clinton said that she “must” win both Texas and [...]

Does sleeping with the President qualify as foreign policy experience?

Much has been made of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s “experience.”
This has been highlighted recently in an advertisement where Clinton supporters ask “who do you want receiving a 3 a.m. phone call?”  In much of her continual campaign retortic, Clinton has remarked that she is ready “from day one.”
What does that really mean?
Barack Obama has [...]

Obama tries for the “death blow”

Knowing that he could just about wrap up the Democratic nomination this Tuesday, Senator Barack Obama has gone on a media buying blitz.
The intensity of Mr. Obama’s drive is especially apparent on television, where he has outspent Senator Hillary Clinton by nearly two to one in Ohio and Texas.
Polls show the race deadlocked in Texas. [...]
