Obama Crushes Clinton in WI and HI, now 10-0

Democratic Senator Barack Obama handily defeated his Democratic opponent, Senator Hillary Clinton in the Wisconsin Democratic primary.

What was predicted to be a close race turned out to be a landslide of support for Obama as he beat Clinton in Wisconsin 58%-41%, a 17 point margin of victory.  The margin in HI, Obama’s other “home” state was even more significant, 76% to 24%.  The scale of these defeats shows just how desperate things have become in the Clinton campaign.

The pressure must be taking its toll as, for the third primary/caucus night in a row, Hillary Clinton took the stage at a post-election rally and failed to mention her losses, or congratulate her winning opponent, Barack Obama.

Wisconsin, coupled with a win in Washington and Hawaii this evening, now has Obama at 10-0 vs Clinton in the last ten primaries.

Obama and Clinton have turned their attention to Ohio and Texas, which hold contests March 4.
