Obama racist video turns up in time for TX and OH primaries
Saturday, February 16, 2008 9:52As we approach the March 4th primaries, the worst of American politics begins to surface. Desperation and fear are motivating Hillary Clinton’s supporters to reach for racially charged images that associate Barack Obama with Islam, terrorism, and 911.
It is a sick racial attack on Obama’s name and background and is something that should repulse every American, especially those voting in TX and OH.
In a land whose first amendment protects our freedom of speech, this type of guttural trash is allowed, but we hope that media outlets and investigative reporters will trace the source of the video and find if it has any relationship to the Clinton campaign before March 4th.
This is a pathetic appeal to the lowest level of unconscious fear in American society. It is not so subtle associative advertising that is reminiscent of the Third Reich. It is blatant, repulsive, and despicable.
Today is not a proud day.
