Obamarama!

The South Carolina Democrat primary produced a decisive win for Senator Barak Obama yesterday. The Illinois senator earned more than twice the vote that rival Senator Hillary Clinton did, 55 percent to 27 percent, unofficial returns showed.

“I did not travel around this state over the last year and see a white South Carolina or a black South Carolina. I saw South Carolina,” said Obama in his victory speech last everning.

Early indications today are that both Caroline Kennedy and her famous, core-of-the-Democrat Party, uncle Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy, will appear with Obama and at a morning rally at American University in Washington tomorrow to announce their support.

“Sometimes it takes a while to recognize that someone has a special ability to get us to believe in ourselves … and imagine that together we can do great things,” Caroline Kennedy wrote in an article in The New York Times titled “A President Like my Father.” “We have that kind of opportunity with Senator Obama. We need a change in the leadership of this country — just as we did in 1960.”

This type of verbal imagery and sentimentalism will rally the Democrat troops unlike anything that we have seen in a long, long time.

Some call these events a crushing defeat for Senator Hillary Clinton.  Some call it a fundamental shift in Democrat politics this year. We see it as the beginning of a tsunami.

We call it an OBAMARAMA!
