Analyst predicts stalemate in next-gen DVD war

The EETimes had an article where a Senior Analyst says that he believes the DVD format war will result in stalemate, at least in the short term.
Isn’t that just great? Who remembers VHS and Betamax?
You would think that these electronic companies would learn something over time.
